Party sources say Advani may hold the post of Speaker till 2017 when a vacancy arises in Rashtrapati Bhawan after President Pranab Mukherjee completes his term.

However, it remains to be seen if NDA would make him its Presidential candidate as the veteran leader would be 90 by then.

Meanwhile, it was a busy Sunday with possible ministerial aspirants calling on Modi. .

The Tuesday meeting will confirm Modi as the party's parliamentary leader, after which he will meet President Pranab Mukherjee to formally start the process of forming the government.

The BJP was last in power 10 years ago, and some of the ministers who served then are now past their sell by date, leaving Modi a relatively small pool of experience at his disposal.
