12:50pm- Modi concludes his speech with chants of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.
12:38 pm- Modi:The two parties in the state of father-son and father-daughter are just dynastic…. Jammu and Kashmir need to be freed from these two parties. Jammu and Kashmir witness more cold than any other region or state of India. I thankyou for the high turnout in the last two phases. You have shown the world that ballet is more powerful than bullet. The finger used to press button on EVM is more powerful than the finger used to fire AK 47. The finger used for firing AK 47 claims a life but the finger used on EVM changes the state of affair of a nation.
12:33 pm- Modi: People of Kashmir want development. I am thankful to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their support in the Lok Sabha polls. You voted for a majority government in Delhi. I appeal you to also form a majority government in state. Give BJP a clear mandate. Don't give fractured mandate. What is the use of a chair with broken legs? If one leg is broken the chair is useless. The Congress is very clever. It plays wisely …it first supports a government and then criticize it. This is only because they want power … they betray the people. Such organization (Congress) don't have any right to seek vote. No candidate should be voted to the Assembly.
12:33 pm- Modi:The mantra of BJP is ‘sabka sath, sabka vikas'. ‘Sath milega'? Will you give your support to the BJP??? (Crowd says- Yes)...If you promise to give 'saath' then I promise to do 'vikas'... I promise to deliver work… I promise development.
12:28 pm- Modi: Three government ruled the state .. Congress, father-son and father-daughter. Have you got anything from these government? Today, I am here to say that BJP will work for you. The BJP-ruled states are committed to development. Wherever BJP formed government, the priority was to address the grievances of people. The Madhya Pradesh was once called a ‘bimaru' state… Since the formation of BJP government led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the state has achieved tremendous development. Shivraj Singh Chouhan provided water to the farmers in their land and today the state is doing well in agriculture. No Govt can work on discrimination, there can't be discrimination on the basis of areas, society, everyone has equal rights. All must get opportunity. Both NC and PDP are dynastic parties. We need to make Jammu and Kashmir free from this.
12:23 pm- Modi: This time… when I am witnessing the election rallies especially in Jammu and Kashmir, the crowd is unbelievable. I promise to return your love and affection with interest. What is the demand of people??? You demand education, water, road, jobs… Tell me, have you ever demanded bungalow, cards, jwelleries from government? People here want water in their field for irrigation, jobs… youths here want job. Isn't state govt responsible for providing all this? So should we not remove the govt which can't provide its people things that they need?Tell me, such government should be wiped out or not??
12:22 pm- Modi: First and foremost, I would like to salute Brigadier Rajender ji who sacrificed his life for the nation.
12:21pm- Modi begins his speech.
11:39am- Narendra Modi reaches Jammu
