Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today asserted that his government gives utmost importance to Northeastern region and that there will be no compromise on the issue of the security of North East.
Addressing a meeting of BJP workers in Guwahati, Prime Minister Modi said,"I want to assure with all responsibility that I will serve you. This government will fulfill dreams of Assam and there will be no compromise on the security of the North-East."
Applauding the BJP workers for organising this meet at a very short notice, Modi exhorted them to add as many new members as possible using technology.
"Just as you are BJP workers, I too am a small soldier of the party. But above all, I am also a party worker. Are you doing the work of expanding the party through technology? Are you making use of the toll free number through which people have to just give a miss call to be a member of the BJP? It is our job to worry about the people. All you party workers deserve endless praise. I want to thank you all," said Modi.
