Billawar (J&K): Prime Minister Narendra Modi today accused both NC and PDP of practicing dynastic politics in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing an election rally in  Billawar of Jammu region, Modi said that corruption is in the DNA of both these parties.

"Recently, I visited Srinagar. People complained to me about Jammu region. They said that the government constructs roads and releases funds for Jammu region only. I was stunned to hear them. This is because corruption is in their DNA. They are living for their family only... whether they are in government or outside, they work for their family only," said Modi.

Modi underlined the vast scope of tourism in the state and accused the ruling parties of spoiled the tourism environment in Srinagar in last 30 years.

"There is a vast scope of tourism in Jammu region. Only Dal Lake is known to the world... Is Dal Lake the only place in Jammu and Kashmir? Some people have spoiled the tourism environment in Srinagar. For last 30 years, the region has seen downfall in tourism," said Modi.

Reminding  the audience that the world has started taking India seriously after the formation of a full majority government at the centre, Modi exhorted the people of the state to give a clear majority to BJP in assembly elections.

"Today the world is looking towards India... Whether it is Japan, Russia or America, everyone is chanting the word – India. I appeal you all to vote for a majority government. People have done their job in four phases. The remaining work should also be done and it is your duty to bring it to conclusion," added Modi.
