New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today address an election rally in south Delhi's Ambedkar Nagar at 2 pm, his fourth public meeting in run up to the Assembly polls in Delhi.

Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place to ensure anti-social forces are not given a chance to disrupt the rally. Over 5,000 personnel, including the officials of Special Protection Group (SPG), which looks after the Prime Minister's security, have been deployed at the venue.

A senior police official said that three-layered check points have been set up for every visitor. Apart from manual checking, the visitors will be checked through hand held metal detectors, door frame metal detectors and baggage scanner machines.

Modi, star campaigner of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has already addressed three election rallies in Delhi at different places -- first at the CBD grounds near Karkardooma on January 31, second in Dwarka on February 1 and third on February 4 at Japanese Park in Rohini.

At yesterday's rally, Modi mounted a shrill attack on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over allegations of the party receiving ‘dubious' donations, saying it has exposed its claim of being more honest than others and questioned whether Kejriwal-led can run Delhi with ‘dishonesty and lies'.

He also had a swipe at Congress leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, calling them ‘Maa-beta', and said nobody was listening to them except when they make statements against him.

On January 10, the Prime Minister had addressed a rally at Ramlila Maidan to kick-start the BJP's election campaign.

The BJP has played its trump card by inducting former IPS officer Kiran Bedi into the party fold and naming her as the chief ministerial candidate.

Campaigning in the national capital will conclude tomorrow with single-phase polling slated for February 7 and counting of votes on February 10.
