New Delhi: Opposition today accused Narendra Modi government of failing to come out with any “concrete” plan in its agenda outlined by President Pranab Mukherjee in Parliament, saying it is “merely raising the aspirations” of the people but has no roadmap to meet them.
Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister M Veerappa Moily said that the BJP-led government was not focused on governance, creation of jobs and also on the issue of containing inflation.
Questioning the government's claim that it would make the country proud in 60 months, Moily said the Government was “merely raising the aspirations” of the people but had not said how it will go about fulfilling them.
“They are not focused particularly on the governance and creation of jobs and also on the issue of containing inflation. People were expecting and looking forward. But you don't find any concrete plans. There is no concrete roadmap.
How they are going to achieve that?,” Moily said.
