Political analysts say that PM Modi has now virtually taken control of the party. By hand picking his man as the party president Modi has ensured he has full control over decision making in the party and has also tried to make the three decades bond with Amit Shah even stronger.
Amit Shah is also called ‘modern day Chankaya' and he normally keeps a low profile.
The other senior members of the party like Arun Jaitley, Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh pale in significance in comparison to the years of mutual trust and partnership that PM Modi and his once deputy in Gujarat have forged over the decades.
Regardless of Shah getting berth in the cabinet or any other position, he has always stood by Narendra Modi.
