Kadapa (AP), Apr 28 : TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu today alleged that Y S Jaganmohan Reddy amassed huge wealth when his father, Y S Rajsekhara Reddy, was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Jagan is contesting Lok Sabha by-election from Kadapa.Naidu addressed rallies at Muddanur, Jammulamadugu and Proddatur, campaigning for TDP's M V Mysoora Reddy.
Attacking the ruling Congress, Naidu said that common people, farmers and other poorer communities were suffering due to the poor governance.
Talking to reporters at Kadapa, Naidu alleged that Bramhani Steel factory, floated by Gali Janardhana Reddy, a BJP minister in Karnataka, was a “legalized institute to loot public money”.
He said that the factory got land from the government for a very small amount, but no work was being carried out there. Naidu criticised the late Y S Rajsekara Reddy's government for spending Rs sixty thousand crore on ‘Jalayagnam' project “without irrigating even single acre of land”. PTI
