Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will address meeting of the World Economic Forum in New Delhi tomorrow, where he will showcase the state as the best investment destination.

The Chief Minister will arrive in New Delhi on a two-day trip, where he will meet several Union Ministers to discuss issues related to the state and also bring to the Centre's notice the blatant violation of the AP Reorganisation Act by Telangana government, according to a top aide of the Chief Minister.

"The Chief Minister will seek to promote the state as an investment destination and primarily attract national and international investors for taking up projects under the public-private partnership mode in infrastructure building," the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister said.

It is after a gap of over a decade that Naidu will be attending an event by the World Economic Forum.

Apart from this, Naidu will report to the Centre all the issues that have become contentious with the neighbouring state Telangana in the last few months, like sharing of river water, power and violation of the Reorganisation Act in respect of various government institutes that were listed in Schedules IX and X of the Act and also those that were not listed in any Schedule.

"He may not meet the Prime Minister as no meeting has been scheduled yet. But he will meet many Union Ministers and discuss pending state-related issues with the Centre, including the setting up of institutes of national importance in the AP," the CMO official added.

The issue of much-delayed allocation of all India services (IAS, IPS and IFS) officers to the state post-bifurcation would also be discussed with the Centre.

Administration is facing problems as the allocation of IAS officers has been delayed for many months now even as the new state came into being five months ago.
