New Delhi: Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has today invited all non-BJP and non-Congress parties leaders for lunch at his official residence in New Delhi.

The invitees list include - Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Ajit Singh, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Abhay Singh Chautala, Janata Dal (United) chief Sharad Yadav, former PM Deve Gowda and CPI(M) leaders.

It is believed that Mulayam's move is aimed to make a ground to counter the BJP in the upcoming Winter Session of the Parliament.

There are reports that Mulayam had also sent invitation to BSP supremo Mayawati but she turned down the request.
