According to Congress sources, Digvijaya didn't want to miss the auspicious mahurat of ‘Dhanteras' for filing Jaivardhan's nomination papers.
Jaivardhan's father Digvijaya Singh and his uncle Laxman Singh were present at the time of filing of nomination papers.
