New Delhi: Jaivardhan singh, son of Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh, filed his nomination papers from ‘Raghogarh' assembly constituency on Friday even before the party released its first list of candidates.
The interesting part is that Jaivardhan's name did not figure in the first list of 115 candidates that the Congress party released later on.
Justifying Jaivardhan's filing of nomination papers, state Congress spokesperson JP Dhanopia said, "Jaivardhan has only filed his nomination declaring himself as a candidate, not a Congress candidate. He will get the party symbol only after he files the Form B in the nomination paper. Currently, he has fulfilled all requirements, except filing of Form B."
