Bhopal, Jul 21: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister shivraj Singh Chouhan will embark on a state-wide election campaign tour from tomorrow in the run up to the upcoming assembly elections slated to take place in November this year.
The Chief Minister's state-wide campaign will start from Ujjain.
“I will embark on the tour to seek people blessings from tomorrow,” Chouhan told reporters in Bhopal today.
The Madhya Pradesh CM said that the main objective of this tour is to educate the people of the state about the achievements of the state government. He will also share his vision for next five years if his party returns back to power for a third consecutive term.
“We will explain our achievements. We will also place before the people our vision of development for next five years,” added the CM.
The BJP led government is ruling Madhya Pradesh for last 10 years and the opposition Congress is leaving no stone unturned in dethroning Shivraj Government in the upcoming assembly elections.
