Society members feel that the response from Modi, who is now the PM-elect, is nothing short of a ray of hope as far as governance is concerned.
"This action from Modi while in the middle of campaigning gives us hope that all is not lost as far as (issues concerning) urban cities are concerned," he said.
In a written reply to the society chairman on May 2, Assistant Commissioner of K West ward, Vishwas Shankarwar said, "As the road under reference is a private road, its betterment is the responsibility of the individual plot-holders and the cleaning of the said road shall be done by the society".
