Chandigarh: Rejoicing its ally BJP's good showing in three of the four state assemblies, Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal today said that it will be tidal wave in favour of BJP in 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
On asked whether the Narendra Modi card worked for BJP in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi, Badal, President of Shiromani Akali Dal said, “Modi factor is always there, this is a big win for BJP.”
“This is a complete rout of the Congress Party and it is going to be a tidal wave in 2014,” he told PTI in an interview here.
BJP today appeared to be on the road to capturing power in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and was leading in Delhi while Congress was giving it an equal fight in Chhattisgarh in the assembly elections when counting of votes began.
On the tremendous performance of the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi elections, Badal said that these (AAP) votes will translate into Modi votes in 2014.
