New Delhi, Mar 14: Bahujan Samaj Party Chief Mayawati has pleaded with the Supreme Court that the CBI probe against her alleged disproportionate assets has been going on without any authority for last 9 years and violates her right to life guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution.
Mayawati's response came in response to a petition filed by Kamlesh Verma who has requested the SC to review its judgment quashing the FIR against Mayawati for having assets beyond the known sources of income.
