Mumbai, July 10: After being slandered in a recent issue by the Times Magazine which called him an " Underachiever" , Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has found himself at the receiving end of yet another verbal attack, this time by the Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray.

Calling the Prime Minister " Politically impotent", Bal Thackeray stated, "Until now, the domestic media was rapping on his head, now even the international media is kicking him."

However, he later clarified his stance on the issue by stating that being termed as an underachiever does not make a person big or small and that even the magazine has to carry out its own objectives and interests.

Citing an old example, he mentioned how the same magazine had presented the Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi as the most 'hated politician' but claimed that he was only hated by the 'Anti-Hindutva forces'.

He also lashed out at the Maharashtra government, stating that, "it is also being taken to the dumps by a Manmohan Singh 'copy'. (refering to the current Chief Minister PrithviRaj Chavan)" and insisted that only a Shiv Sena's 'Shivrai" is capable of undertaking the responsibility of steering the Country in the right direction.

Calling for a nationwide revolution, Bal Thackeray has urged the Prime Minister as well as the Congress President Sonia Gandhi to hand over the country to 'an inspiring person who can fight the corruption, the economic woes, the terrorism, and other forces inimical to the country's interests.'
