Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi may land in trouble for providing wrong information relating to his age and assets in various affidavits.
The Chief Minister has filed three affidavits in last 13 months. The details provided by him in all three affidavits differ from each other.
In December 2013, Manjhi had filed an affidavit informing that he owns 5 acre land in Mahkar village of Gaya district. In March 2014, he had submitted another affidavit stating that he doesn't own a singly inch of agricultural land. Again in December 2014, the Chief Minister had filed an affidavit saying he owns 5 acre land.
Likewise, in his first affidavit, Manjhi said that his ancestral home is 2500 sq ft in size. In second and third affidavit, the Chief Minister said that the ancestral home is 4000 sq ft and 2500 sq ft in size, respectively.
In December 2013, Majhi had said that he is 69-year-old whereas in March 2014 and December 2014 he stated that he is 68 year-old and 70-year-old, respectively.
