Shimla, Jun 27: The tall claims of huge victory in Mandi Lok Sabha bypoll being made by Congress would be deflated when the result of the elections will be declared, former minister and BJP candidate from the seat Jai Ram Thakur said on Shimla.
Thakur told reporters Shimla that inspite of "brazen misuse of official machinery" to influence the voters, the result would spring a surprise for the ruling party.
"The people of Mandi would give befitting a reply to the Congress party in the by-poll," he said.
