Kolkata, May 21: As the Trinamool Congress government completed two years in office yesterday, West Bengal Governor M K Narayanan said it had performed fairly well, though two years was too short a time to judge a government.
"I think they have done fairly well. Two years is too short to judge a government," Narayanan told reporters here.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had yesterday spoke in similar vein, saying two years was not an adequate time to evaluate the performance of her government, which carried the 'baggage' of the Left Front regime.
The TMC government was sworn in to power on May 20, 2011.
