New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address three election rallies in Maharashtra today, the last day of campaigning for October 15 assembly polls.
He will hold public meetings in Palghar, Ratnagiri of Konkan region and Kankavli.
After parting of ways with Shiv Sena, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had changed its campaign strategy by increasing the number of Modi's rallies in the state.
All major political parties, including Shiv Sena, NCP, Congress and MNS have said that the BJP is not confident about its poll success and that's why the party is relying heavily on Modi.
The pre-poll surveys have predicted that the BJP will emerge as the single largest party both the states.
Polling will be held in a single phase on October 15 in Maharashtra for all 288 assembly constituencies. Counting of votes will be done on October 19.
