Lok Satta Party president Jayaprakash Narayan on Tuesday  demanded Maharashtra Government to withdraw all charges against former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his TDP colleagues and release them immediately and unconditionally.

Narayan, who spoke to the State Chief Minister K Rosaiah and Chief Secretary S V Prasad over phone, underlined the need for all parties to work for a political settlement of the dispute over Babhli and other projects without rousing parochial passions on either side of the border.

Narayan condemned forcible removal of the agitators, who included legislators and MPs, to Aurangabad and demanded that they be treated with dignity, courtesy and respect. PTI
