LIVE: Take suo motu action against Sonia Gandhi for her communal appeal, Modi tells EC at Vaishali rally

2:01pm – Modi: We focused on agriculture and milk. Today even in Delhi, the milk that you use comes from Gujarat. Amul has spread across and is paying good remuneration to farmers as well.

1:59pm – Modi: Sonia ji has made the mistake of trying to mislead and divide the nation. People will never forgive this kind of politics. The nation will never accept the divisive politics. Why is it that farmers are committing suicide? Why are they being forced to end their lives.

1:57pm – Modi: I request you to make BJP victorious with huge majority. My Congress friends keep singing paeans of secularism all the time. Let the people decide what secularism is all about. For Congress, secularism is just a poll slogan but for us, it's all about bringing everybody together. Congress secularism is divide and rule. We say unite, integrate and work for the nation. For Congress secularism is religion first but for us it is India First. It is an article of faith for us.

1:55pm – Modi: “Divide and rule” is the tradition of Congress. “Unite and develop” is our tradition. We are inspired by nationalism.I salute ex-army chief V K Singh who worked with Anna Hazare and did social service.

1:52pm – Modi: The Congress which is at the brink of defeat has started speaking the language of rank communalism. I want to ask EC to take suo-motto action against Sonia Gandhi for issuing rank communal statement to get votes.
