New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today kicked off Aam Aadmi Party's national membership drive .
Termed as 'Main Bhi Aam Aadmi', this national campaign will cover mainly those states from where AAP is planning to put up candidates in upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing a press conference to announce the launch of the national membership campaign, Kejriwal said that the party aims to recruit 1 crore members by January 26.
Kejriwal announced that Gopal Rai will oversee this campaign.
Kejriwal also informed that now a person willing to join AAP will no longer have to pay a membership fee of Rs. 10 as it will be completely free-of-cost now.
He said that there will be more than one way of obtaining the membership of the party.
