The local resident said, he had been meeting the minister for the last seven months imploring to help him get his son's body, and the minister was only giving him promises.
BSP leader Swami Prasad Maurya, who lost to RPN Singh in the 2009 LS elections, described this as a "cruel joke on the people, the media and democracy. Such prejudiced behaviour shows how much faith he has in democracy."
RPN Singh is the member of Lok Sabha from Kushinagar.
