Mumbai: Senior Congress leader Narayan Rane said that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis won't be able to run the government ‘smoothly' as he will also have to wait for orders from Delhi just like the Congress leaders were doing while in power.
The Congress leader said that the BJP government at the Centre will intervene in the functioning of Maharashtra government which will result in delay in the decision making process.
“See.. he (Devendra Fadnavis) lacks administrative skills. He can't take any decision by own... he will have to wait for consent from Delhi. He will also have to go through the same scenario which was before us,” he said.
He said that the same situation prevailed with the erstwhile Congress government in the state.
He further accused the top Congress leaders of ‘capitulation' in the recently concluded assembly polls in the state.
The Congress which had ruled the state for 15 years in alliance with NCP slipped down to third position in the state assembly with 42 seats.
