New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal, who was elected as the leader of Aam Aadmi legislature party today by the newly elected MLAs, today made it clear either the BJP as the single largest party form the government in Delhi, or let there be fresh elections.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting of newly elected AAP MLAs, Kejriwal said, BJP should not run away from its responsibilities, because the people of Delhi have given them the most number of seats.
"We are ready for everything, even for re-elections", said Kejriwal, when pressed further by reporters.
He said, this is not a fight of Aam Aadmi Party. 'We are a very small party. This is a fight of the people of India'.
"I just want to say that this is a beginning of an honest political system in India, and we will play the role of opposition, even inside Parliament", said Kejriwal.
Aam Aadmi Party will celebrate its victory on Wednesday from 4 pm onwards at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.
