New Delhi: In the wake of coming Lok Sabha polls, Congress General Secretary, Digvijay Singh, met LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan at his residence on Sunday to discuss alliance issue in Bihar.
Congress may prefer to share seats with RJD and LJP in the polls.
Prior to the meeting, Digvijay had talks with RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav for seat sharing over phone.
Sources said, RJD may contest 20, LJP 5, NCP 1, and the Congress 14 seats.
Earlier, there was difference of opinion in the LJP on the issue of alliance.
While a section believed that Paswan should have a tie-up with JD (U), the others believe that alliance with RJD should continue.
The LJP chief has now through the ball in the Congress court to decide.
