New Delhi: RJD chief and former union minister Lalu Prasad has been disqualified from Lok Sabha after he was convicted and sentenced for 5 years by a special CBI court in fodder scam.JD(U) leader Jagdish Sharma has also been disqualified from the Lok Sabha. Sharma was also sentenced in the same case.A total of three parliamentarians have been disqualified by now.Congress leader Rashid Massod was the first person to be disqualified from the parliament after he was convicted in the MBBS scam.Reacting to Lalu Prasad's disqualification, Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi said that this is a lesson for all politicians.“Law has taken its own course and it will help in cleansing Indian politics. It is a lesson for Indian politicians,” said Alvi.
