Now Kunal Ghosh is caught in the midst of a major scam.
When the Saradha Scam came into limelight and CBI made quite a lead in the case, Sudipto Sen, the chairman and managing director of the Saradha Group wrote a letter to the CBI accusing Ghosh of forcing him to sign some documents and letters for sale of the news channel Channel 10 to him. Ghosh denied all the allegations.
An FIR was filed against Ghosh at the Bhowanipore police station by employees of the closed Bengali daily Sakalbela for non-payment of salaries and another at the Park Street police station by employees of Channel 10, for a similar reason. He was later interrogated by the police on these charges.
