Know K Chandrasekhara Rao: The 1st CM of Telangana
New Delhi: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao Monday took oath as the first chief minister of Telangana, a few hours after it came into existence as the 29th state of India.Governor E.S.L.
He resigned as deputy speaker of the Andhra Pradesh assembly and quit the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) to revive the movement, which was all but dead despite the massive agitation in 1969.
