Dhananjay Singh had a see-saw relationship with BSP supremo Mayawati.
He was expelled from BSP just before the UP assembly polls for meeting the then SP leader Amar Singh clandestinely, but the fact was that Dhananjay, who was embroiled in NRHM scam-related murders of CMOs, was being considered a liability by Mayawati.
