New Delhi: BJP leader Subramanian Swamy Friday said former police officer Kiran Bedi and former army chief V.K. Singh should be invited to join the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The comments come as speculation is rife that the two are swaying the BJP way.
"We should invite Kiran Bedi & Gen Singh to join BJP," Swamy said in a Twitter Friday.
Kiran Bedi, who was part of the core team of the Anna Hazare-led India Against Corruption (IAC) with Arvind Kejriwal, Thursday tweeted in support of Narendra Modi, prime ministerial candidate of the BJP.
Kejriwal, in November 2012, launched the Aam Aadmi Party, parting ways with Anna Hazare to enter mainstream politics. His party's tally of 28 seats in Delhi's 70-member assembly surprised many, when poll results were announced in December 2013.
