New Delhi: Taking a cue from Prime Minister's radio address ‘Mann ki Baat', BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi today said she will launch her own ‘Dil ki Baat' programme to directly connect with Delhiites if the party comes to power in the national capital.

Stressing on the importance of constant dialogue with all stakeholders, Bedi while releasing the party's ‘Vision Document' for Delhi ahead of the February 7 Assembly polls said that the monthly address by her would enumerate on various programmes and initiatives taken by the government.  She said not just the Chief Minister, but Cabinet Ministers and MLAs may also connect with Delhi residents through the ‘Dil ki Baat' programme.

“There will be a monthly radio address ‘Dil ki Baat'.  This programme will be organised every month where residents will be told about what the government has done during the past month.

“Government will reach at your doorstep and your ears on the new initiatives taken and new policies brought. Children, youth, money, the elderly and business will be informed on the new things and their rights, especially that segment who don't see television or read newspapers,” Bedi said.

Noting that “Delhi is a big challenge”, she promised that if BJP wins in the Assembly elections, the government will constantly monitoring all works and projects.  We would focus on steps to reach out to the public and constantly connect with them and help make Delhi a world-class city, she said.
