He rubbished the suggestion that ministers could be given high salaries to make them work honestly.

"Even if you give Rs 2 crore salary to a minister, he will still indulge in corruption. Such ministers know how to make money through Rs 500 cr scams. And look at their bungalows and perks. The cost to government comes to more than Rs 2 crore per minister", Kejriwal said.

About his brush with Delhi private discoms, Kejriwal said: "All we said was that the accounts of discoms should be audited. And why not? After privatization, it was the government's duty to keep watch on the working of discoms. There are two discoms in Delhi, of which one is okay, but the other is not."

On gas pricing, he said, extracting gas from wells costs one dollar, but we are paying 8 dollars. "And then, the committee says, we should pay at international market rates. I ask why, when the oils are treasures of the nation".

About Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Kejriwal said, we had the best economist to lead us as prime minister, but we are not happy with his economic policies.
