New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is working overtime to ensure that its Lok Sabha plans are not stymied because of lack of funds. The party is planning to raise at least Rs 200 crore for upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The party has a tough task at hand because they have refused to accept any corporate donations till now. They relied heavily on the common man for generating revenue to fund their election campaign but now that they plan to contest elections at the national level they are thinking in terms of changing their strategy.
The target donor this time might not be the common man alone, the party may approach corporate people as well. The party may not approach corporate entities but the corporate people in their personal capacity.
