New Delhi: The government is keeping a “constant watch” on military and financial support being extended to Pakistan by various countries, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said today.
He also said that it is aware that China is developing the infrastructure in the border regions opposite India in Tibet and Xinjiang Autonomous Regions. The government “is aware that various countries have extended military and financial support to Pakistan and keeps a constant watch on such assistance”, Parrikar said in a written reply in Lok Sabha.
“Therefore, a constant watch on all developments having a bearing on India's security is kept and all necessary measures are taken to safeguard it,” he said.
