Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of violating the model code of conduct by addressing a state government sponsored election rally in Kishtwar.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally in Kishtwar was in gross violation of Model Code of Conduct as the same was organised by the state government,” JKNPP Supremo Prof Bhim Singh alleged while addressing an election rally in Bhaderwah today.
Singh said the entire Kishtwar town was converted into a curfew zone and “the administration did now allow my vehicle to pass from that area.”
He also accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of resorting to the use of communal factor in his speech. “While he said that he had provided all facilities to the Muslim residents on the Pakistan border in Gujarat, he used communal factor to create communal divide in Doda and Kishtwar districts,” Singh alleged.
He said while the anti-national elements had created havoc in Kishtwar, the Prime Minister did not say a word against Pakistan and the terrorist outfits operating in the state.
