Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today visit poll-bound Jharkhand where he will be holding two public meetings.
As per the schedule, the Prime Minister will be arriving Daltonganj at 11 am. He will be campaigning in the region to seek votes for party candidate Manoj Kumar Singh.
Later, Modi will fly to Chandwa, a community development block in Latehar district. Chandwa falls under Latehar Assembly seat and Chatra Lok Sabha constituency. The party has given ticket to Braj Mohan Ram from here.
Jharkhand is set to go to five-phase assembly elections beginning November 25 and ending December 20.
Polling in Daltonganj and Chandwa will be held in the first phase.
Counting of votes is slated for December 25.
According to a state unit party leader, Modi will address rallies on November 28 and 29 for the second phase polling which will take place in December 2.
