Even the two families were ecstatic over the decision of Sunita and Arvind Kejriwal. After qualifying for Indian Revenue Service (IRS), both Arvind and Sunita met at National Academy of Administration in Nagpur, the institute where IRS officers are trained. Since his childhood, Arvind was straightforward and believed in plain speak and it impressed Sunita who admired Arvind's courage and bold attitude. Arvind's commitment to honesty and his burning desire to serve the nation won the heart of Sunita who always wanted ‘his man' to be just like Arvind. It took time for both Arvind and Sunita to express their feelings for each other but their eyes did all the talking even when the lips were still trying to gather the courage to express the instant liking for each other. Sunita's family was settled in Delhi and Arvind hailed from Hisar, a small district in Haryana. A year later, the couple was blessed with a daughter, Harshita. In 2001, the advent of their son, Pulkit, once again filled their lives with happiness and joy. In his eagerness to serve the nation, Arvind has resigned from the prestigious IRS service and today it's Sunita who is the sole earner of bread and butter for the family.
