Lalu was only 29 when he won a seat for the Lok Sabha making him one of the youngest member parliament of his time.
There was no looking back for Lalu after that. Lalu's stance in Bihar politics was such that Muslims and Yadavs in Bihar became a sure shot vote bank for Lalu.
