Indian public in recent times, tired of rampant nepotism in politics, , have shown an inclination for trusting and handing over the reins of power to those politicians who said that since they don't have a family, there is no danger of sinking in the quagmire of nepotism. Even Rahul Gandhi has announced that he is not interested in marriage. Explaining the rationale behind his disinclination for marriage, Rahul said that if he gets married and has children, then he will become a status quoist and will be concerned about bequeathing his position to his children.
