New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today hit back at Congress president Sonia Gandhi's 'hawa baazi' jibe saying 'hawala baaz' are worried.
"Hawalabaaz are disturbed due to government's tough stance on black money," he said.
He further blamed the Congress for dropping of the idea to call extended Monsoon Session of Parliament for GST Bill's passage.
"They (Congress) are putting roadblocks. All other parties except Congress wanted the House to run," he said.
"We had hoped that the Congress will work with us, help Parliament in enforcing (fiscal) reforms but 'ek hai jo manta nahi' (there is one who does not agree). The Congress has not been able to digest defeat (in Lok Sabha elections)," he added.
He once again assured the people of India about fulfilling their dreams.
"I appeal to those defeated and rejected by the people to please let the nation move ahead," he said.
"Every political party must leave no stone unturned to meet public expectations if it won and also introspect in case of defeat," he added.
The Prime Minister was addressing the BJP workers in Bhopal before inaugurating the 10th Vishwa Hindi Sammelan.
The conference is being organised by the Ministry of External Affairs in cooperation with the Madhya Pradesh government.
