New Delhi, Oct 16: In a setback to Narendra Modi, Gujarat High Court today directed his government to provide documents relating to 2002 riots to suspended IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt. The court has set a deadline of October 19 for handing over the documents to Bhatt.
Sanjiv Bhatt had approached the court seeking permission to accesss the documents relating to 2002 riots.
Bhatt had also approached Nanavati Commission in the past for getting access to these documents but his plea was rejected as the state govt said these documents were not available.
