Hyderabad: Notwithstanding repeated denials by Paksitan of his presence in that country, Government would take steps to bring terror mastermind Dawood Ibrahim to book, Union Minister of State for Home Haribhai Choudhary said on Monday.
"Our work is on. The addresses of his (Dawood) six houses (in Pakistan) have come. We have (details on) his telephone conversation also. But, Pakistan still says he is not there despite so much evidence being given. But we say 100 per cent that he is in Pakistan. When time comes, we will take steps that are needed to be taken (to bring him to justice)," he told reporters here.
In evidence to show the fugitive gangster is hiding in Pakistan, a dossier prepared by India listed nine residences of the underworld don in that country and stated that he is known to frequently change his locations and addresses there.
The dossier was to be handed over to Pakistan's National Security Adviser Sartaj Aziz during the NSA-level talks between the two countries but the proposed meeting was called off by Islamabad.
He expressed confidence that Pakistan will have to hand over Dawood to New Delhi one day. Pakistan consistently denies harbouring the prime 1993 Mumbai serial blasts accused.
Islamabad is in denial mode even after India caught a terrorist (a Pakistan national) live and his father was interviewed by the media in Pakistan, the Union Minister said.
Asserting that Kashmir is an integral part of India, Choudhary said there will be no compromise on it.
The Minister would visit the two Lok Sabha segments held by Congress in Telangana as part of the BJP's plan to explain to the people the main Opposition party and CPI(M)'s stance of not letting the Parliament function during the just concluded Monsoon Session, which was a near-total washout.
