Panaji: Goa CM Manohar Parrikar is expected to tender his resignation to the Governor Mridula Sinha today.
Parrikar is slated to meet his party legislators at 10am today where he will brief them on his discussion with Prime Minister Modi over his joining the union cabinet.
Parrikar is also expected to discuss the probable names for next Chief Minister of Goa.
Yesterday Manohar Parrikar dropped enough hints to suggest that he is all set for a new role as union cabinet minister. According to media reports, he may take over as the next Defence Minister of India.
