New Delhi, Sep 21: As the Trinamool ministers led by Railway Minister Mukul Roy landed in Delhi to tender their resignations to the Prime Minsiter, another TMC minister Saugata Roy said: "the game is over. The die has been cast. Caesar has crossed the Rubicon".

Saugata Roy said it was "politically, morally and ethically" incorrect on part of the government to issue notifications allowing FDI in multi-brand retail, aviation and broadcast sectors.

Mukul Roy told newspersons at Kolkata airport that he would lead the TMC ministers to meet the Prime Minister and submit the resignations.

"We have also sought appointment with the President to hand over our letter of withdrawing support to UPA", said Roy.

On arrival in Delhi, Railway Minister Mukul Roy said that all Trinamool MPs would go to Rashtrapati Bhavan at 4:30 pm to hand over the letter for withdrawal of support to the UPA govt.

"This government is bent on following anti-people policies, like allowing FDI in retail, hiking petrol, diesel prices, reducing subsidy on LPG and withdrawing subsidy on fertilizers", Mukul Roy said.

"We will go to the PM's residence at 3 pm to hand over our resignations", Mukul Roy said.
