New Delhi: A section of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) believes that the jolt Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) suffered in the Delhi was much-needed for Narendra Modi-Amit Shah ‘jugalbandi'.
If sources are to be believed, a section of RSS at the Keshav Kunj, the Sangh headquarters, is of the view that the humiliating defeat will teach a ‘tough' and ‘timely' lesson to the saffron party that will force the party to do the course correction in the Bihar Assembly polls.
This section also wants BJP to re-think on restoring internal democracy within the party line.
Meanwhile, senior RSS ideologue MG Vaidya has said that there is nothing like any ‘anti-Modi wave' and the Aam admi Party won Delhi polls because of an ‘anti-BJP wave'.
The BJP is presently aiming to become the world's largest by enrolling 10 crore members.
Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party yesterday decimated the BJP and the Congress by recorded a landslide victory, securing 67 of the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections. The BJP managed to bag only 3 seats.
