Ranchi: Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad has filed an appeal in Jharkhand High Court against the 5 year jail term given to him by the special CBI court in a case relating to fodder scam.
Lalu has also moved a bail petition in this case.
"We have appealed in the Jharkhand High Court against the sentence awarded to Lalu Prasad in a fodder scam case. We have appealed for a stay on the sentence and granting bail to him," a lawyer for the Rashtriya Janata Dal chief told reporters here.
