New Delhi: Deputy CM Manish Sisodia's car was challaned by Delhi Traffic Police on June 12 for overspeeding.
The incident took place near Khajoori Chowk in North East Delhi.
The on-duty traffic constable asked Sisodia's driver to stop at the Khajoori Chowk but he didn't pay any heed to it. At that time, Sisodia was sitting in the back seat of car.
Other people, caught for the same offence, reacted sharply and asked officials to book Sisodia's car too.
After chasing his car for almost an hour, constable Sachin finally issued Rs 400 challan.
"As the car did not stop, it was chased by a traffic constable on a bike who later issued the challan (ticket)," Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sandeep Goel said.
"A fine of Rs.400 was imposed when Sisodia's car was found over-speeding by our interceptor vehicle on June 12 evening," the officer said.

Delhi Police and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government are at loggerheads over various issues.
The face-off with AAP got more personal after police officials refused to take orders or recommendations from the Chief Minister.
